EC&M Rebuild Program

Rebuild Program for EC&M and Square D Brand Crane Control Devices

EC&M introduces a device remanufacturing program for EC&M (and former Square D) brand crane products to help primary metal producers and other large crane users achieve safety and production goals.

Using Genuine EC&M Parts - Meeting Industry Specs & Standards

Devices rebuilt by EC&M will meet all industry specifications and national standards. With genuine EC&M parts, reverse engineering of replacement parts is not required. All devices are OEM original: inspected, tested and certified to the same level and using the same methods as newly manufactured devices.

Lower Cost Alternative Backed By a Best-In-Industry Warranty

When rebuilt equipment is the customer’s best alternative, EC&M can provide as much as a 50% savings versus the purchase of new equipment. Plus, every rebuilt device is backed by an 18 month warranty. A new product nameplate clearly communicates all key information matched to EC&M factory documentation.

Over 100 Years of Experience

With over 100 years of crane control experience, no other company is better equipped to remanufacture crane control products originally built by EC&M (or Square D).

Design Upgrades at No Additional Cost

Where feasible, an EC&M rebuilt unit will automatically include design upgrades made since the purchase of the original product at no additional cost. For example, Class 5010 Type F brake rebuilds will include corrosion resistant hardware not included in earlier product versions.

Genuine OEM Parts

EC&M believes that genuine OEM parts should be used when rebuilding critical safety devices such as brakes and power limit switches. Generic parts may not meet dimensional tolerances or material specifications. Unlike EC&M original OEM parts, generic parts may not have been life tested in the working device.

Let us evaluate whether your EC&M (and former Square D brand) crane control brakes, power limit switches, master switches or contactors are good candidates for an EC&M rebuild.
