KCS Korean Certification Approvals

Hawke International have secured Korean Certification for four Glands within the Hawke portfolio. The KCS Korean Certification will provide an improved global certification approach to satisfy our customers' requirements for a comprehensive range of safe and reliable, globally certified solutions.

  • There are two options for stamping:
  • 1. Standard: ATEX/IECEx, EAC, and INMETRO
  • 2. KCS Korean Certificate: ATEX/IECEx, EAC, CSA and KCS
  • Standard stampings will be offered unless stated otherwise. KCS stamping is available upon request.

Additional NEC/CSA Approvals

Further additions have been made to our comprehensive collection of international hazardous location approvals for Cable Glands. Canadian Standards Association cCSAus approvals for both Canada and America, including Classes & Zones and Classes & Divisions, now cover the following Cable Gland ranges for use with Marine Shipboard Cables and Conduits:

  • 501/421
  • 501/414
  • 501/423
  • 501/453/RAC
  • 501/453/Universal
  • IGC 623
  • IGC 653/Universal
  • CSB 656N

These Cable Gland ranges will be marked with ATEX, IECEx, EAC, CEPEL, INMETRO and cCSAus Class & Zones and Class & Division marking. The additional marking includes the CSA Certification number, Class 1 Zone 1, AExeII, AExdIIC, AExtD Zone 21, Class I Div 2 ABCD, Class II EFG, and Class III covering gases, vapours and dusts.

The additional approval will provide an improved global certification approach to satisfy our customers' requirements for a comprehensive range of safe and reliable, globally certified Cable Gland connection solutions.

These NEC/CSA Cable Gland ranges compliment the well established UL listed Hawke 7 series Cable Glands.
