Sure-Break™ Elbow has an increased strike distance between energized and grounded portions of the elbow to enhance switching performance in conditions favorable to partial vacuum flashover
- Meets or Exceeds IEEE Std. 386 and IEEE Std. 592 requirements
- Interchangeable with other products meeting the same requirements
- Tested with a worst case,non vented bushing, to achieve Level 1 (highest level) requirements of IEEE 386 Clause 7.5.2 for partial vacuum flashover
- Two times the amount of strike distance compared to a standard loadbreak elbow
- Fully shielded, insulated and submersible
- Optional features include test point, integral seal, cold shrink jacket seal kit or shield adapter kit
