NX Area Controller

The NX Area Controller provides a simple interface to the NX Distributed Intelligence™ Lighting Control Platform via a personal computer.The NX Area Controller allows any PC with an Internet Explorer® compatible browser to interface with the NX Distributed Intelligence Lighting Control Platform through a built-in web server. The NX Area Controller provides an easy-to-use and highly intuitive graphical user interface (GUI). System users can easily program, monitor and control (locally or remotely) the functions of the NX lighting controls system conveniently from their PC—all without installing software. The NX Area Controller is the central component in a NX Networked Lighting Control System. It connects to the HubbNET™ network providing communication with the NX Lighting Control Panels, NX Room Controllers, NX SmartPORT™ Modules and other wired NX system components. The NX Wireless Access Point additionally extends connectivity to NX Wireless Room Controllers, and fixture modules. Integration with building automation systems is simplified by the imbedded BACnet™ IP client that can be field configured through the GUI to expose selected NX system components as standard BACnet objects.
