The ST2 provides an intrinsically safe interface barrier between the Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN) and the private Minephone network.Both ST2 and A103 phone are IECEx explosion protection certified and EMC C-tick compliant. The ST2 has further obtained ACMA compliance A-tick and IEC (AS/NZS) 60950 Electrical Safety approval.The ST2 system can work either in stand-alone mode or with Austdac’s Phone Manager II GUI.Austdac’s PC based Phone Manager II GUI adds additional control to the phone system. It can perform functions such as conference calls between phones on the network, monitoring emergency tone or calls from Minephones, logging calls for audit purposes, monitoring phone line status, etc.The ST2 can accommodate up to 79 lines per cabinet and additional cabinets can be used to accommodate up to 158 lines.Note: The A103 Mine Telephone must be used with the Austdac ST2 Telephone System. The A103 cannot be directly connected to a PSTN line.
