HubBus Two Channel Temperature Transmitter - Austdac
The dual channel temperature transmitter is part of a family of DIN rail mounting modules that transmit to and receive from an Austdac HubBus field bus network. The HBTX2T can transmit two separate temperature values on independent HubBus channels. The two temperature inputs are designed to work with standard two, three or four wire PT100 temperature sensors. Each of the temperature transmitters inputs can be configured to operate on one of two temperature ranges, -10?C to +100?C or -20?C to +200?C. This makes the HBTX2T particularly suited to monitoring bearing or similar plant temperatures via the HubBus network without any requirements for additional power. To protect the HubBus system form faulty sensors or wiring faults the two temperature sensors are galvanically isolated from the HubBus network. Any of the HBTX2T parameters can be conveniently configured using the battery powered handheld HubBus universal programmer and tester type HHP1-H. The two temperature inputs may be programmed to any HubBus channel address. The temperature inputs may also have their over range, hysteresis and digital set point alarm channels configured by the user.
Composite Cable 6 Core - Austdac
Composite cable type A15 is designed for use as a conveyor lanyard in SILBUS or Dupline® network based conveyor emergency stop and PSACS1 Longwall systems. The cable has a stainless steel braid under the outer sheath to provide mechanical strength to stop cable stretch. The tough polyurethane outer sheath provides wear resistance where the lanyard cable passes through roof support or loops. Type A15 Composite cable consists of six polyethylene insulated conductors. The cable has a low capacitance of 170pF/m and a low mutual inductance of 0.58uH/m. The all-important L/R is a low 25uH/?. The outer sheath is available in yellow. Every batch of Austdac cable is quality controlled, inspected and tested to ensure that the cable is within mechanical tolerance and the specified Exi electrical parameters Cc, Lc and Lc/Rc are not exceeded. This gives our customer’s confidence in the safety of their installations knowing that any IEC/AS/NZS 60079-25 installation assessment is using reliable and safe cable data. The A15 composite cable is typically fitted with our unique slip ring plug and socket arrangement (see above image). This becomes particularly useful when used on longwalls during roof support movement. The slip rings allow the cables to rotate 360°.
Austdac Mine Telephone - Austdac
The ST225 telephone is an intrinsically safe telephone designed for use in mining applications. It has been designed to be a direct replacement for the now obsolete A101 and A102 telephone.

The ST225 telephone comprises of a carbon loaded glass filled polyester telephone encased in a metallic surround which also contain the customer termination box referred to as the terminal chamber throughout this document.

Note: The ST225 telephone contains a BP004 which is an ATEX/IECEx certified rechargeable battery only for use in GAI-Tronics telephones. This battery will be disconnected upon despatch from the factory and will therefore need to be reconnected during the installation process.

Note: The ST225 Mine Telephone must be used with the Austdac ST2 Telephone System. The ST225 cannot be directly connected to a PSTN line.
Lighting And Power Unit - Austdac
The Lighting and Power Unit Type LPU57 is a series of stainless steel metal enclosures fitted with power input connectors and output connectors. The LPU57 is designed to house suitably certified equipment such as the Austdac AC36W and other permissible modules. The LPU57 is available as a 1, 2 or 4 module unit. These are identified as LPU57-1, LPU57-2 and LPU57-4. The LPU57 has two integral mounting flanges, screw fastened removable cover, various combinations of power feeder gland ports or connectors and output I.S. connector ports. The interior of the LPU57 has sufficient volume to house an Austdac suitably certified module such as the Type AC36W power supply. The LPU57 has an ingress protection rating of IP66. Power is provided to the enclosed power supply or permissible module via suitable explosion protected cables passed through Ex e gland or Ex de connector mounted in the wall of the LPU57 enclosure. A second Ex e gland or Ex de connector is provided to allow power to be looped in and out of several LPU57 enclosures. Terminal blocks are provided within the LPU57 to terminate incoming and outgoing power feeder cables as well as terminating power input connections of the permissible module. The maximum current in the feeder cable is limited to 35 amperes. The exterior and interior of the LPU57 enclosure are provided with earth studs to allow connection of earthing facilities to maintain the certification and installation requirements of the separately certified permissible module or power supply unit.
HubBus Remote Isolation Indicator - Austdac
The HubBus Remote Isolation Indicator Type HBRII is part of the HubBus field bus range of products. The DIN rail mounted HBRII provides four LED indicator outputs that can be controlled from the HubBus field bus network. The HBRII can receive from just 1 through to all 2048 valid HubBus channels to control the four indicator outputs directly or via complex multi-term logic functions. The remote isolation indicator has four indicator outputs controlled by up to six logic resolvers capable of implementing OR, AND, NOR and NAND logic functions on all valid HubBus digital channel states including ON, OFF and FAULT. Each resolver has an independently configurable output ON and OFF delay filter to allow implementation of simple timer functions. The state of each logic function can also drive a user configured HubBus channel. Any of the HBRII parameters can be conveniently configured using the battery powered HubBus Handheld Universal Programmer and Tester, Type HHP1-H.
