HubBus Two Channel Digital Transmitter - Austdac

The dual channel digital transmitter type HBTX2D is a compact, line powered, HubBus transmitter capable of transmitting the status of two voltage free contacts. In the dual input mode, each input transmits on a separate programmable channel address. When configured to safety transmitter mode it uses a single channel and inputs are configured to operate in normal open and normally closed modes for increased safety. The transmitter is line powered from the two-wire HubBus network cable that reduces installation and cabling costs and because of its low power consumption many dual channel digital transmitters type HBTX2D can be connected to a HubBus network. The dual channel digital transmitter type HBTX2D, along with the rest of the HubBus system, has been developed in accordance to the AS/IEC 61508 Functional Safety standard for use in SIL 2 low and high demand conveyor emergency stop and remote isolation applications operation.
