- Compact round body instrument enclosures with threaded glass lens screw covers provide easy access to interior.
- High strength, lighter weight, corrosion resistant copper free cast aluminum construction.
- Glass lens made of tempered sode lime.
- Cover o-ring, Nitrile (BUNA-N) material, supplied standard supplied standard for a Type 4X rating.
- Cast mounting lugs are standard on all boxes.
- Internal ground screw supplied on all boxes.
- Electrostatically applied gray powder epoxy/polyester finish on exterior of box and covers.
- Offset feed-thru conduit openings (3/4” NPT) for maximum use of interior volume.
- Interior "X”-configuration mounting pad for instrument/device cast into the bottom of the box provided for flexibility.
- Covers have shrouded tamper resistant set screws as standard.
Enclosures are explosion proof, dust/ignition proof, weather proof, and tamper resistant. HK Series boxes are cast from a copper-free aluminum alloy. Neoprene O-rings are provided with HK boxes to assure water resistance in NEMA 4/IP66 conditions. HKB box
