00:03Hi, I'm Mike Senner, product manager here at Killer Electric.
00:06And today we're gonna be introducing a full line expansion selection phase.
00:11When shifting matters, we have your connection solutions.
00:15Kark is a leading manufacturer and provider of electrical conduit fittings to the industrial
00:20market with locations around the globe.
00:23They are now pleased to announce the introduction of a full line of expansion and
00:27deflection fittings.
00:29The A F and DF series.
00:32This new series maintains the quality and reliability for which Kark is recognized for
00:37over a century and deflection fittings are engineered to accommodate axial angular and
00:44linear movement and conduit runs driven by temperature fluctuation and structural movement.
00:50The DF series deflection fitting is made from a synthetic silicone rubber that prevents drying
00:55and rotting out by maintaining moisture to ensure durability and is environmentally
01:00corrosive and UV resistant.
01:03The rubber sleeve is securely fastened with two stainless steel lap bands for ultimate
01:07corrosion resistance.
01:09It includes an integral tin copper braid for electrical continuity and two casted Z A 12
01:16zinc alloy and couplings.
01:18This series provides a 30 degree angular flex as well as a 34 contraction and extension and
01:25can withstand occasional vibrations driven by vehicular traffic.
01:29The A F series expansion fittings are for use with I MC or rigid conduit installations.
01:35The A F series prevents damage of the electrical installations typically used in
01:40buildings and bridges by compensating linear movement due to thermal fluctuations or
01:44structural movement.
01:46The series provides maximum four inches and eight inch conduit movement.
01:51The A F series requires external tint plated bonding jumpers for electrical continuity and
01:57can be easily designated in the catalog cut sheet for ordering purposes.
02:01The bonding jumpers allow for visible inspections and reassures continuity.
02:06Some major applications for the A F and DF series would be bridges,
02:11tunnels, marinas and piers, parking garages, wastewater
02:18facilities, mass transits and railways, solar power fields,
02:25airport infrastructures, cold storage facilities and any other application that
02:32involves thermal fluctuations and structural movement.
02:36The DF and A F series are available in four finishes including standard Z A 12 zinc alloy,
02:43electro galvanized iron, aluminum and poly fen coated.
02:47This product is UL listed to standard 514 B and is Nema FB one.
02:53It is rain water and concrete tight.
02:56The Kark A FDF series expansion and deflection fittings are designed casted machined and
03:01assembled in the USA.
03:04Thanks for watching. Hope you're excited about this product as we
