APEX™ Recessed Cover Power Post for Surface-Mount, Black

The APEX™ Recessed Cover Power Post (APEX1S) delivers convenient outdoor power with a modern, low-profile design that stays flush—even when cords are plugged in. Its integrated Extra Duty-rated recessed cover not only looks clean but also reduces the risk of vandalism, accidental damage, and tripping hazards.

• Provides convenient outdoor power access in a wide range of locations.
• Post with integrated recessed outlet enclosure with Extra Duty rated cover retains sleek flush profile even with cord(s) plugged in. So, it’s both durable and inherently less prone to vandalism or accidental damage from snagging or tripping.
• Perfect for both long-term continuous use or sporadic use whenever power is needed.
• Includes adapters for GFCI/decorator and duplex receptacle to fit a variety of the most common outdoor outlet sizes.
• Locking tab provides option for padlocking for access control with or without cords plugged in.
• Rugged surface mount base with 4 reinforced mounting holes concealed within for theft and vandalism deterrence. Suitably sized for large lag bolts, anchors, or other high-grade fasteners suitable for desired holding force and mounting surface such as wood, composite, metal, concrete, masonry, asphalt and other outdoor solid surfaces.
• 1/2″ threaded NPT outlet with matching color closure plug provides a convenient means to add a lamp holder, motion sensor or other accessory to the top of the post.
• 2-part assembly allows pre-building/wiring head offsite for speed and convenience if preferred, while the open access to inside of post during installation is convenient for wiring connections and fitting(s) installation. No more hidden access makes for an easy code compliant installation.
• Heavy duty UV-resistant polycarbonate with solid molded in color won’t experience paint chipping, rust, or corrosion like metal posts.
