00:00Today, we're going to demonstrate how to install and use the MM410 weatherproof.

00:05While in-use device covered, the unit comes with a cover base,

00:10mounting screws and two adapter plates if needed.

00:16The adapters snap in from the backside of the base which is the side with the attached gasket.

00:22We're installing this vertically.

00:24So using a player will remove the single cord port on the bottom side.

00:29If this was a horizontal installation, the ports on the wider side would be removed.

00:33Instead of course, as with any electrical work, make sure the power is off at the breaker start

00:39by backing out device, mounting screws about a half inch if installing on a rough surface.

00:44Apply a quarter inch bead of silicone caulk between the base and wall surface align key

00:50holes on the base with screws slide over base and fasten screws.

00:58Compress gasket by tightening screws until snug.

01:02All that is left is to attach the cover, align hinge pins on base with holes on cover and push

01:08sideways to snap in place to allow the hinges to line up properly.

01:13Angle the cover between 60 and 80 degrees before snapping together. Installation is complete.

01:22Your MM410 cover is now ready for use.
