The Electric Controller and Manufacturing Company was born in the steel mills of the Great Lakes in the 1890s. Through today, EC&M provides standout crane-control products and services that build on over a century of reliability and functionality in the most rugged of industrial environments.

EC&M has a rich history, and in recent years the business was taken private in 2003 by a pair of industry veterans backed by a team of application engineers and service experts with more than 500 years of combined experience. Hubbell Incorporated acquired the company in 2015 and is now operating as a division of Hubbell Industrial Controls.

Known throughout the trade as the "Crane Gang," count on us to design, produce and support the widest range of crane-control drives, brakes and limit devices and more, backed by around-the-clock support.
