The timeless beauty of Michigan’s Upper Peninsula can only be described as breathtaking. For the people who live here, taking in the exquisite view is a daily occurrence.

In the heart of the North Woods is a town called Iron Mountain. It’s the place Systems Control has been proud to call home for over 50 years. It’s where we work. It’s where we play. It’s a place for friends, family, and enjoying the outdoors.

Iron Mountain was founded in the 1800s by the miners and loggers who made their living in the area through hard work, integrity, and determination—traits we call our North Woods culture. This culture has been passed down through generations and is a hallmark of the people who live in the Upper Peninsula and work at Systems Control.

At the heart of Michigan’s Upper Peninsula

A dense, forested region in Michigan, bordering three of the Great Lakes, Michigan’s Upper Peninsula extends northeast from Wisconsin.

Whether you access the area via the interstate from Wisconsin, or from Michigan’s lower peninsula via the 5-miles-long Mackinac Bridge, you find an environment, a culture and a destination that is always welcoming.

Positive energy : It starts, and ends, with people

Positive energy : It starts, and ends, with people

We’re proud of the role we play in bringing energy to those who need it, but we don’t just do it with connectors and wires. It happens with every interaction. Our most compelling connections are the relationships we build with our employees, suppliers, customers, and community.

We bring positive energy and passion to every challenge. Behind every solution and satisfied customer is a process, and a company, that’s powered by people.

The Systems Control Little Sparks Child Care Center was created to serve the individual needs of children by providing well-rounded experiences and enhancing every child’s development through play, and by introducing them to concepts of Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM).

Center staff are trained in growth and development and set age-appropriate expectations. By guiding and directing children with warmth, concern, acceptance, approval and respect, children develop a strong and positive concept of themselves and the world around them. A welcoming and responsive atmosphere fosters a sense of trust and autonomy, and encourages cooperation, communication and respect for others.
