00:07Adjustment instructions. Bh nine through bh 70 tool.
00:11Balancers using spool lock, spool engage, activate
00:17spool lock by pulling out slightly and rotating one quarter turn in a clockwise direction.
00:22Inserting it into hole in spool.
00:25Spool may have to be rotated slightly. So lock can line up with hole spool
00:31lock, disengage, disengage by pulling out and rotating one quarter turn in a counterclockwise
00:37direction. Adjusting tension note, avoid adjusting tension
00:43above or below rated capacity of balancer tightening spring over its rated capacity will
00:49shorten cable stroke and decrease spring life. If spring is loosened to lower than minimum
00:54capacity, the safety device may engage preventing operation to increase
01:00tension. Turn the hex drive in a clockwise direction.
01:04Also, if balancer will not hold tool in raised position, increase tension by turning drive
01:09clockwise to decrease tension, turn hex drive counter clockwise
01:16direction. Also, if tool is difficult to pull down,
01:20decrease tension by turning drive counter clockwise procedure to disengage locking
01:26device in the event that the safety device becomes engaged and locks the spool.
01:32Follow this procedure to disengage the safety device loosen allen screws and
01:39remove all safety stop pins, rotate tension adjustment worm
01:46approximately 100 turns in a counter clockwise direction.
01:49In order to ensure that all tension is relieved from power,
01:52spring rotate, tension adjustment, worm 115 to 120
01:59turns in a clockwise position. To ensure that the safety pin on the spring
02:02spool assembly is retrieved back into the spool.
02:08Hang the tool balancer reel by the upper hook and load the reel with suitable weight within
02:12the rated capacity.
02:14Pull the load up and down to ensure that the safety pins will not lock the spool,
02:20then replace all safety stop pins and tighten Allen's screws,
02:25hang tool from lower hook on wire, rope and adjust tension to desired balance range.
02:32Contact your local distributor if it still doesn't work properly.
