The Model 396-001FS is considered to be Type 3R weatherproof compliant when installed in a GAI-TRONICS surface-mount enclosure, free-standing stanchion, or simply recessed into a wall. In addition to the auto-dial HELP pushbutton, the Model 396-001FS provides a second, ASSISTANCE pushbutton that can be programmed to call security, a garage/mechanic, or any desired “non-emergency” telephone number.
