Moisture Eater II contains no water and dissolves water in its presence. In fact, it removes twice as much water as the original Moisture Eater. Without undue worry about wasting the chemical, you can take the time necessary to thoroughly clean tools. This is because the unique formula of Moisture Eater II gives it a much lower evaporation rate than the original formula and other hot-line tool cleaners. Expect drying times from 10 to 20 minutes. The new formula consists of two solvents: One for oils, waxes and silicone-type contamination- one for moisture contamination. This combination is ideally suited for cleaning hotline tools. A by-product of citrus fruit, one component is biodegradable. And the other component protects it from decomposing until used. Plus, the reformulation eliminates chlorinated solvents harmful to the Earth’s ozone layer. For more technical details, refer to Material Safety Data Sheet ABC/C56.
