Chance Type M3S Station Class Disconnect Switches are Single Phase Hook Stick operated units ideal for manual switching up to 27kV 150kV BIL. They are rated either 900A or 600A and are suitable for station applications. All M3S disconnects include load break hooks for use with a portable load break tool. These also serve as a blade closing guide. Each switch has silver plated contact areas for smooth current transfer and a positve latching blade mechanism to prevent unwanted opening during surges. Each pull ring has a pry out lever which helps opening under ice conditions. The Chance M3S units are available with 3" Bolt Circle, TR Rated porcelain, ESP or Cycloaliphatic insulating materials.
