00:01This video details how to terminate. Hubble's 90 degree cable exit plugs.

00:07All Hubble 90 degree plugs come with a jack body and a wire manager.

00:12The only tools needed to complete the termination are a cable jacket,

00:15stripper, flush wire cutters and channel locks.

00:19The first step is to feed the cable through the wire, not then strip the cable jacket by

00:24scoring the outer edge of the jacket about 1 to 2 inches from the end,

00:28making sure not to damage the conductors. Once the outer jacket is removed,

00:32fan the wires out and remove any non conductive elements such as center splines,

00:37rip cord and annexed shielding.

00:42Now that the inner wires are exposed, align the wire manager to match the label colors to the

00:47wire colors, feed the blue and green

00:54pears into the openings in the wire manager. Then bring the brown and orange pears around to

00:59the bottom of the wire manager

01:06lace wires into the appropriate slots using the color code on the wire manager

01:14lock wires into place by pulling down on the free ends.

01:23Next, use flush cutters to cut the wires flushed to the respective inner and outer

01:28surfaces of the wire manager,

01:40open the plug body and orient the wire manager to the plug body.

01:47Close the plug body.

01:49Channel locks may be required to generate the required force.

02:08Pull the plug in one hand and carefully rotate the cable to the desired exit direction.

02:16Slide the strain relief housing into the slots in the plug housing until it is fully seated,

02:21then rotate the threaded cover closed, tighten the wire not to provide additional strain

02:26relief. If needed, you can easily re terminate up to 25

02:31times when finished. Perform all the required testing to MP TL
