Installation Instructions

General Installation Instructions 

  1. Switch on the instrument and go to Setup --> Miscellaneous. Note down the current firmware version.
  2. Download the File (below) to your computer
  3. Copy the file to a USB - Stick
    Attention: the memory stick needs FAT32 formatting. The instrument is not compatible with NTFS formats.
  4. Insert the USB - Stick in the MIDAS micro 2883 instrument
  5. Go to Setup --> Miscellaneous --> Firmware Update
  6. Click on Firmware Update and follow the onscreen instructions
  7. After successful update of the instruments, go to Setup --> Miscellaneous. The firmware version must show the newest version
  8. If the new installed version number is not shown, repeat the steps above.
