In addition to hourly;time-stamped and time-synchronized meter readings;alarms and other data generated at the endpoint is communicated over the Aclara RF network. This data provides actionable information important to large and small gas utilities improve their business operations. configuration changes and firmware updates can be accomplished over the air without ever rolling a truck.

  • Hourly meter reading configuration with communication every 6 hours, or 4 times per day.
  • No missed reads – Each of four daily uploads includes the 12 most recent stored readings, usually 6 new readings and 6 previously repeated readings for double redundancy.
  • Transmits up to eight digits of meter reading data and offer a resolution of one pulse per revolution of the proving dial.
  • Sends signals if tampering is suspected and notifies operators of reverse flow conditions or unauthorized programming.
  • Ability to retrieve meter reads On-Demand with low latency.
  • AES256 security with encryption and authentication.
  • On board storage of 96 days of hourly reads.
