00:13I'm going to show you how to use Reo's new series of stud mount mud rings.

00:17These mud rings are designed to provide a cost-effective and labor savingss way of

00:22securing a box and mud ring to a stud. The stud mount mud rings provide secure support

00:27for all four inch square boxes. The ring is designed to mount quickly and

00:31easily to the face of the stud Rico stud mount rings work with both wood and steel studs and

00:37can be mounted on both sides of a steel stud to install simply mark your desired

00:44positioning mark on the stud. Then use the center positioning window on the

00:48stud mount cover. This helps you to find your mark on the stud

00:52every time. Next position the ring against the stud using

00:55the quick positioning tabs to ensure a flush fit.

01:00Then with the screws loosened, slide the four inch square box into the screw slots on the

01:05stud mount. Muttering finally tighten down the screws to

01:10make sure the box and mud ring are firmly secure.

01:17The rigid bracket design eliminates the need for far side support the stud mount mud rings

01:23also provide an inexpensive option for mounting low voltage devices where the use of boxes may

01:28not be specked.
