Snaps to metal stud or to the new 9030G open center bracket for hands free installation. Rigid design eliminates the need for a far side support. Eliminate electrical boxes in low voltage situations. Can be mounted horizontally or vertically. Mounts to either side of the stud and can be mounted side by side on the same stud. Postitive posting tabs ensure consistent alignment. center window for accurate positioning. Works with all 4" or 4-11/16" boxes and mud rings. Adjustable mud ring has a 1/2"-1 3/8" adjustability range
