The GIB5 Intersystem Bonding Connector meets the NEC Article 250.94 “Bonding for Other Systems” requirement. The NEC requirement dictates that all telephone, cable, and satellite grounding conductors must be tied together at one location to the grounding electrode conductor (GEC) in residential and commercial applications.
- GIB5 is installed via a #8-#14 screw adjacent to the meter base or service entrance equipment
- The GIB5 accepts a main ground conductor from #2 to #6 AWG and up to four intersystem conductors from #4 to #14
- The GIB5 containes corrosion-resistant stainless steel wire binding screws, zinc connector body, and a white UV-stabilized cover
