This specific kit includes reducing compression splices for #8 AWG Str Flex (Side A) and #14 AWG (Side B) wire and pre-cut 6-inch lengths of heavy wall black polyolefin heat shrink tubing to securely cover and protect the splice connection. While the repair splice kits themselves are not UL Listed, the individual components that make up the kit retain their UL Listing and other certifications. Each component, the compression splices and heat shrink tubing, has been tested and certified according to specific safety standards and retains these certifications even when sold as part of a kit. Sold in multiples of 100. Other sizes are available.
