00:07And today I'm gonna talk to you about UL and CS A

00:14UL underwriters Laboratory, CS A stands for Canadian Certification Association.

00:20They are both nationally recognized testing labs that inspect,

00:25test, certify and also right, safety standards for products.

00:30Each country adopts those standards which specify how to install electrical wire and

00:36equipment. They interpret the code and write performance

00:40and testing standards to make sure that the products that are gonna be used won't violate

00:47the requirements and cause failures and fires. Products that are used inside buildings and

00:52homes and commercial spaces need to be listed.

00:56So that's where Ul and CS A step in and they evaluate the products and if they deem that the

01:02product meets their, the safety standard that they've written,

01:05they will apply their listed mark or most of the products that we manufacture and sell that

01:10are listed. The lab is qualified by UL and CS A to perform

01:14the testing in house that every year UL and CS A come down and inspect us to make sure that

01:20we're doing that program properly.
