00:09Welcome to another episode. I'm your host,
00:12Sarah. Let me just ok.
00:15Hold on. Just give me a second here.
00:18So, what was today's topic?
00:20All right. Yes. Fire management.
00:24We've discussed the importance of wire management in previous episodes,
00:27but let's have a quick recap. PV. Modules can produce dangerous levels of current
00:32and voltage, 60 volts and greater. It's a shocking hazard.
00:3630 to 50 milliamps can stop a heart.
00:41Proper wire management is essential to avoiding ground faults,
00:44especially at the ray where conductors are installed in free air and more easily damaged
00:49by exposure to direct sunlight, animals or sharp edges within the PV array.
00:55These various conductors are often secured to modules frames,
00:59support rails and other racking system components while securing array wiring seems
01:03like it should be a straightforward exercise. The reality is the integrators continue to face
01:09numerous challenges. It's important to have a clear sensible wire
01:13management plan heading into the installation.
01:16That's what I'm here to help you with today. We will be talking about the various means in
01:20which to use Wiley's Wire Management line of products for module and rail clips to bundle
01:27straps. All products are designed to make your
01:29installation easy and array safe for years to come.
01:33Our wire management solutions can fit just about any installation.
01:36They can accommodate for a broad range of cable combinations and sizes they require no special
01:41tuning to install sport rolled edges to prevent damage to cable installation and are listed to
01:47UL 1565 and UL 62 2 75.
01:51With the ever changing landscape of the wrecking module industry,
01:55It's difficult to have a tried and true single approach.
01:57Luckily for you, Burnie and Wiley have the answer in our breadth of products.
02:09Let's start with installing the AC CFP D.
02:16The AC CFP V gets installed onto the model frame, the straight on
02:22clip. So it's only one direction pops straight onto
02:25the module. It can accommodate two PV wires up to a
02:30diameter of eight millimeters.
02:35Next, let's talk about the AC CF 90-1.
02:39This is a 90 degree clip and it allows you to install cables in two different directions onto
02:44the module frame straight on and in a 90 degree orientation which
02:51gives you some flexibility on how you would like to route your wires.
02:55This clip also holds two PV wires.
03:05Now we're gonna talk about the AC Cr BC 15.
03:09This clip fits into any rail channel up to 13.5 millimeters.
03:14The way you use it is you take your wires, put the RVC over top and then secure into your rail
03:20channel. Like. So now let's talk about the W Bs line.
03:24This is a W Bs eight V eight stands for the length.
03:29So this is eight inches long. We go all the way up to 36 inches and we can do
03:34custom sizes.
03:36This is made out of stainless steel with a PV C coating on the outside of the wire.
03:42The cool thing about this is it has a retention feature that acts as a third hand.
03:46So you can string up all your wires and then this retains it until you're ready to cramp.
03:52So I'm gonna show you how to install the W BS can go around rails through a model
03:59hole or a pin hole.
04:03So you wrap it around your rail and then you slide the wire through the thrill like so,
04:10so now we're gonna talk about our line of insulated ST PV clips.
04:17I'll show you how they're installed, put your wires in,
04:21put them over your bolt. They can be installed into a rail channel via
04:26any sort of bolt that you're gonna be using or through a module hole or a pulling hole.
04:32They come in sizes up to uh 1.5 inches per bundle diameter and the lowest one we go
04:39is square inch.
04:43And now we're gonna talk about our widely insulated strap.
04:49This is it, it's reusable.
04:51Uh It goes around a rail through a module hole or a pearling hole.
04:58So all you do is you like a regular cable tie, put it around your veil,
05:05put your virus through, secure it and then you're just gonna bend this tab back.
05:10And there we go. Uh, they come in lengths between eight inches
05:13and 12 and the bundle diameters are 2 to 3 inches.
05:18Now, we're gonna talk about our AC cr two E.
05:21This is a rail clip and these are rail clips as well with these do is they go into a rail
05:27channel, here's a rail channel and it just pops over the lip of the real channel.
05:34This one holds uh micro inverted cables and also larger diameter PV.
05:39The AC cr four holds up to four PV cables and the R two holds micro
05:46inverter cables and PV cables.
05:50As you can see, there are various ways cables can be managed to prevent accidents and prolong
05:54the life of the modules.
05:56As always. Thank you for joining us today.
