One piece full tension aluminum splice designed to eliminate possible basketing of conductor. Installed by crimping from end of connector towards the center, Accommodates ACSR with aluminized steel core:2ACSR (6-1),2 6201 (7),2 5005 (7),2AAC (7).
- Single-Sleeve Splice, similar to UNISPLICE Type YDS-RL, except designed to eliminate possible conductor basketing on ACSR
- Installed by crimping from end of connector towards center with standard tooling (sold separately)
- Pre-filled with PENETROX Joint Compound and Capped, factory installed plugs in pressure relief holes must be in place when conductors are inserted, plugs drop out when sleeve is crimped
