Exposed work installation is easy with drawn construction version of popular RACO 232 box
The electrical box most popular with electricians is the 4” square. The new 232D from RACO features drawn construction, perfect for use in exposed work applications.
The new box is a drawn version of RACO’s welded 232 model. The 2-1/8” deep box is a standard workhorse for the electrical trade. Installers use it for mounting receptacles, switches, or light fixtures.
The 232D offers 30.3 cubic inch capacity with ten ½” and six ¾” knockouts. Made of 1/16” pre-galvanized steel, it includes a threaded ground bump and recessed screw ears with 8/32 combination head screws.
