Fast charge technology provides a 60% faster recharge than the standard USB battery charging technology. Hubbell’s 4 Port Type A&C USB Charger provides USB power in a standard single gang electrical opening. The USB ports are capable of delivering a total of 5 amps to multiple electronics simultaneously. The two Type C ports offer up to 9 volts of USB output for fast charge. This device will communicate with mobile devices to determine what voltage is required and provide 5V or 9V, based on the make and model. The two USB Type A ports offer high power 5 amps at 5 volts. The 4 Port USB is perfect for use in creating a “charging zone” at home or in the office. Hubbell recommends designing this into a combination power and USB charging station, by installing the 4 Port Charger into a 2-gang arrangement with a surge receptacle for additional line voltage power.
