The CHANCE® Pole Key excels in reinforcing poles in soft soils where loads are unbalanced, helping to counteract light overturning forces from service drops, prevailing winds, or minor line angles. It is best installed adjacent to the distribution pole butt. However, it's advisable to use pole keys only when guy wires and anchors are impractical, as the latter typically offer superior resistance to lateral movement.
