Cross Plate

Cross plate anchors are designed for use in holes created by power diggers, making them ideal for transmission projects where the same auger can be used for both pole and anchor holes. The holding capacity of cross plate anchors is independent of the hole size. Installation involves positioning the anchor in a diagonally bored, undercut hole to ensure it sits at right angles to the guy wire. A rod trench is then created using either a trenching tool or a small power auger. To complete the installation, both the anchor and the rod trench must be carefully refilled and firmly tamped down to secure the anchor effectively.
