Line Surge (LSA)

Our Protecta*Lite arresters safeguard transmission and distribution lines by protecting the air around an insulator during lightning events. In the event of an insulator flashover, a circuit breaker or reclose operation would be needed to clear the fault. Protecta*Lite arresters prevent these flashovers by safely diverting the lightning surge to ground. Custom designs are available for system voltages ranging from 2.4 kV to 765 kV.
