Chance Type C Polymer Standard cutouts are available for application on system voltages up to 36kV and 170kV BIL. Chance Type C Polymer Standard Cutouts can be fused up to 200A and use Universal Style fuse links so Coordination with other devices is easily achievable. ChanceType C Polymer Standard Cutouts can also be a sectionalizing device and function much like a disconnect switch when fitted with a 300A disconnect blade. Chance Type C Polymer Standard Cutouts are interchangeable with S&C(MPS ) Type XS and ABB Type ICX cutouts within the same voltage class. Chance Type C Polymer Standard Cutouts use ESP Enhanced Silicone Polymer as insulating material and use a synthetic fuse holder liner material for consistent arc quenching during fault current interruption or load breaking.
