Chance Type C Combo Units are available in Standard, Link Break and Load Break Styles and use Ohio Brass Arresters in Normal, Heavy or Riser Pole Duty Ratings. Chance Type C Combo Units are available for application on system voltages up to 36kV and 170kV BIL. The electrical ratings for the Cutout portion of the Combo unit would be the same as our Standard, Link Break and Load Break Styles. Chance Type C Combo Units provide the End User with a "clearance" advantage as both the cutout and arrester are on the same NEMA Cross Arm Bracket.
