Two piece replair sleeve us used to restore electrical and mechanical integrity to conductors with damage to strands in the outer layer only. If damage extends to the inner layer of aluminum or alloy strands, a full tension Extra Long XL repair splice should be used.

  • XL suffix denotes extra long splice
