For distribution construction with all aluminum, ACSR or aluminum alloy conductor. This clamp is a combination deadend and stirrup or tap clamp. The stirrup permits tapping energized conductors without arching damage to the conductor. Material and installation costs are less with the ADES combination clamp than with other equivalent methods of deadending and tapping a conductor.
