The HH8 is an outdoor, hookstick operated, air disconnect switch. The HH8 is constructed primarily of copper and bronze. An oversized operating ring and 4 to 1 mechanical pry-outs aid ensure a smooth operating sequence. A positive latch locks the switch in the closed position, ensuring that it will not open under the most adverse vibration or short circuit conditions. Compared to the HH6, the HH8's manufacturing methods reduce cost while maintaining premium quality and offering a heavy-duty design.
