Chance SloFast Fuse Links are manufactured in complete accordance with ANSI/NEMA Standards and assure system protection because they are precision manufactured. Chance SloFast Fuse Links have a Very Slow Speed Rating and specifically designed for Transformer Protection. Chance also provides an Application Guide for these links so that the right link is selected based on the System Voltage/Configuration and the Transformers kVA Rating. SloFast Fuse Links are Dual Element with a Slow Section and a Fast Section. Each fuse link comes in a protective plastic bag for all weather protection to facilitate easy opening. Chance Standard Speed Fuse Links are designed to carry 150% of their rated current for special loading conditions. They are available in Current Ratings thru 46A and in 23", 26" and 31" overall lengths in both Solid and Removable Head designs. The Time Current Characteristic Curves are standard in most commercially available System Coordination Software and also availabable in Excel "numerical" format. Each fuse link is tested to 20 lbs, twice the requirement per the ANSI/IEEE C37.42 Standard. Note: Time Current Characteristics for Standard Speed Fuse links are not covered in the C37 Standard.
