The GARD 8000 Current Differential Protection System is a proven current-only, high speed line protection system. The GARD 8000 87L features a wide range of digital communications interfaces. The system is available in both a 3U or 6U chassis size. Multiple communications interfaces can be used in either a redundant configuration or independent. As a result, the system can be used for two- or three-terminal lines as well as tapped load applications.
