Sprial Vibration Damper for .563"-.760" Cable O.D.
The Hubbell spiral vibration damper (SVD) reduces Aeolian vibration on ADSS cable, Bare Conductor, and Shield Wire/OPGW. Aeolian vibration is a high frequency, low amplitude vibration caused by wind passing across a cable. This vibration can cause support hardware to breakdown and fail over time. SVD's are made of UV stabilized PVC and are very easy to install.
