Bushing Adapter Installation

This video provides a step-by-step guide on installing Hubbell Power Systems' Bushing Adapter. Start by cleaning the bushing and applying a thin layer of the provided silicone grease. Next, insert the shorter end of the stud into the equipment bushing. Use a 1/2' wrench to tighten the stud, then give it an additional 1/4 turn. Place the bushing adapter onto the bushing and use a 5/16 allen wrench, turning it clockwise to engage the stud. Watch the gap close as you tighten. The correct torque is between 20-25 feet-lbs. Proceed to install a #14 or equivalent drain wire, ensure it's grounded, and then attach an arrester, elbow, or insulating cap to the 200A loadbreak interface.
