HUBBELL® Sure-Tap™ Loadbreak Reducing Tap Plug

Hubbell Power Systems' 600 A 15kV or 25kV rated Sure-Tap™ is a loadbreak reducing tap plug designed for connecting medium voltage underground distribution cables to switchgear, transformers, and sectionalizing cabinets. The Sure-Tap™ system is perfect for scenarios requiring frequent repositioning for visible breaks and grounding. Once combined as a unit with a T-body, the Sure-Tap™ simplifies installation and removal from the mating bushing interface. It features a 200 A loadbreak interface, suitable for either 15kV or 25kV, facilitating direct connection tests, phasing, and visible grounding. Additionally, it supports the addition of taps or the installation of elbow arresters to shield your underground distribution system from voltage surges.
